David Wolowidnyk, the reigning Grey Goose Vodka "Arbiter of Cool" National Pour Master Champion and this year's recipient of Vancouver Magazine's "Bartender of the Year" Award, will man the Hard Bar this summer at two Especially Hard Supper Club events.
The West Restaurant Bar Manager — also named Bartender of the Year by the Vancouver restaurant community in the 2008 Urban Diner Awards — will showcase his cocktail creations at the Hard Bop Supper, hosted by the Vancouver International Jazz Festival and helmed by Hard Supper's Kevin Mooney, and at the Hard West Supper Club, hosted by Vicki Gabereau and helmed by West Restaurant executive chef Warren Geraghty and the Top Table Group.
Praised for his chemist-like precision, inventive twists and intriguing libations, the award-winning Wolowidnyk has more than two decades of professional service experience in destination bars and restaurants throughout Vancouver and the Grand Cayman Islands.
